Terry Bayes, Sr. has retired as owner, but still works in sales part-time. The current owner is his son, Walter "Doug" Bayes II.
An appointment is scheduled for our estimator to meet with you at your home and review your ideas, concerns, needs and budget. Dimensions will be taken for the proposed project and a second appointment will be set to go over the proposed project cost and ideas. Should construction drawings be required a fee will be approved and paid prior to any drawings being started.
If a fee will be required for the written proposal the estimator will quote the cost of the estimate fee to you at the first on site meeting. Most projects do not have up front fees unless several design options are to be quoted or if the home owner has construction drawings without a specifications sheet. Fees will be required if you do not own the property that the estimate has been requested for.
If construction drawings were not needed for the estimate but are required for the job, any applicable fees will be included into the estimate. Bayes and Sons will secure all permits and file any applications with the appropriate Building department that will be necessary to secure permits for your project with the exception of Variance request forms.
